Michael’s practice covers all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law, although his first love is litigation. As a CMC and internationally accredited mediator with experience in civil/commercial and work place mediation, and as an experienced advocate before the employment tribunal and employment appeals tribunal, he has a particular interest in conflict management and dispute resolution.

Michael also has an active employment law training practice and regularly leads bespoke client training programmes on topics including disciplinary and grievance management, alternative workplace dispute resolution methods, and equality and diversity. He also hosts seminars, webinars and similar events, is a regular commentator and broadcaster on social media on topical workplace questions and is a guest presenter at local and national events addressing employment law and HR questions.
He spends the greater part of his time acting for clients, often global and national businesses, in the Tech sector, where he feels most at home.
